I think someone got into a shell I had that is on that list, and I can't recover the stupid thing because the email is defunct and not available for creation again, but inactive.
It's related to my guild, so is really making me upset =/

you're not alone! and I'm in that list. I think that they should have sent a mail warning about the leak. And with all the drama around neopets they really need to do something.

me too!!! And It is beginnig to be too much drama.
Well, I've been away from the site for long time (like 6 years) so I can't tell if it was like this before.

I'm really confused about all this stuff going on... So are accounts that were, in the past, leaked safe so long as you change your information now? I've got my account pretty secure (I think). But now I'm skeptical. I keep regular screenshots of all my assets, though, so I think I probably wouldn't have any problem getting it back, but still.

Yeah I wasn't aware of all this until a few days ago, there was a data leak that happened in 2013, so everyone's info has been leaked including emails and passwords and I suppose it all surfed now :0

You can serch on (you need an account to see links), type your username and it can found 0 results (no leak for you) or 1 result from neopets 20**(year) that means your data was on that leak.
I hope I explained myself well...english is not my greatest strength =/

Yeah, I had no idea about the 2013 leak, either. I paid the money to see all the details, mostly for my own peace of mind, and there's just... so much there? Like, I looked up a couple of my high school friends' accounts just for the sake of curiosity.

I requested anything related to me be deleted, but apparently there's a two week backup because of course there is.
