Initial Thoughts About The Site?

Curious as to what everyone thought about the site when they first registered.
For me, I thought everyone was sketchy and rude. I never intended to join in on the community or the site; I just joined because I was lurking a drama thread.
I went on the TCs with my friends for laughs.
I thought @(you need an account to see links) was a loser. I was right.

Anyone else??

My first thought about ck I was like wow, I'm a mod at 12 years old. How do you trust a 12 year old to be a mod? ���� (three days later demoted...) but in all seriousness, I never saw this site to become so huge. I never thought there would be such genuine awesome people behind these profiles.

My first impressions were that it was much more Neo-centric than it actually is. Kinda like, well, every topic and every discussion is 110% neo, and there's no fun or serious talks at all.
I thought art would be seriously undervalued or under-appreciated, which had a big impact since that's where I'm hoping to market myself here mostly.
I thought those who did talk and whatnot were in their cliques and I'd never be able to break through because I'm anti-social and awkward and new.

Thankfully I was proven wrong on everything so far. While I may not be social, people talk to me still. ;o;
I've gotten people interested in art commissions, and no one's shied away from the reality of my prices.

edit I also kinda hung around looklook obnoxiously because they're the one who referred me and had been kind so far, so I thought they'd be able to look out for me and make sure i didn't get scammed or something fff

I hardly play Neo anymore, so I'm glad that the forum's not 100% focused on Neo.
I wish the art section was more active but I guess a lot of people post their art on Neo and they don't want it on here as well.

I mostly don't post my recent art because of 1) what Jass said and 2) I'm too lazy to upload it other than my dA so I don't want the image url to link back to me. rip.

I remember being pretty happy about the fact that I had finally found a pretty active Neopets related cheating forum.
I believe the reason why I joined was mostly Neo-related. I wanted a place where I could buy NPs and UCs safely.
I didn't know many people back then except for @(you need an account to see links).

Now I barely even play Neo at all anymore, but I'm glad I joined because I met a lot of lovely people!
Most of them aren't even active anymore (sadly) but I've got very good memories thanks to cK.

First of all, I didn't even realize that cheating on Neopets was a thing lool.
I found ck because I had been watching Neopets speedpaints on youtube, and a related video was something like "Make millions of neopoints in minutes with this program!" and it was a score sender, and I ended up googling it and found ck!
And was super terrified ahah.

I also thought everyone was sketchy, and I was really scared of someone finding out my in-site name(s) and reporting me or outing me or bullying me or something.
I was totally scared of @(you need an account to see links) but turns out, he's just a big ol' nerd. @(you need an account to see links) was the first person I didn't fear to death, and then I started TC'ing and figured out everyone were just a bunch of cute goofballs.

I wish the art section was more active, as well. But again, the art on Neo thing.
I've been meaning to make some ck-only art for tutorials and such, so maybe I'll finally do that soon!
