I think Neopets will still be around in 5 years, but it will be very inactive. If they do get rid of the site altogether, I wonder if people who have bought NC will be given a refund, or a gift card... or a chance to redeem their soul?
Their creating NC also killed them in that they probably will not make another neopet species because of having to have their pose fit into every previous wearable they've ever made. I always thought new species of pets added to the appeal.

I think it'll be about the same, to be honest.
Probably nothing, like how NC expires (1 year?) after you obtain it.
I anticipate the most they'd do is give notice a few months ahead of time that Neo would be closing and/or offer to trade existing NC for some other Nickworld game credit.
& nope at soul redemption, the site's a soul sucker. TNT are wraiths.
I think it will be still online, since they will always be kids.
Hopefully no & hopefully they burn in hell :K

I would think so. It's been around for over a decade, and though so many people despise all the big changes they have made throughout the years (the converted pets, battledome, layout, etc.), there are still a lot who stay and I see newer players everyday. I think Neo just has to be more innovative in terms of appealing to the different interests in Neo, and put some more love in it. Most people stay and get addicted because they have their goals, so I think it's a matter of not making Neo too easy? Hahaha lol
Plus, Neo is pretty profitable for those involved in sites like these
I don't know why everyone says little kids don't play.
I work at a daycare and almost ALL of them play neopets. They aren't exactly super active, but they pop on to play the flashgames and bring their pets to the soup kitchen every once in awhile. I know a lot more little kids that play neo than adults.
