I'm always tempted to make a board somewhere celebrating something good that's happened to me on neo (read: brag) but I usually don't because when I see others do it they just look big headed and it really annoys me and I have no reason to believe I'd look any different. And, of course, for this, too - if someone dislikes how I act and they happened to have certain talents, all that I was bragging about may be taken from me, though the first reason is more important to me than the second - don't want to be an ass.

And I guess that's why I don't like the "popular folk" on the Neoboards - at least, those who act like they're so much better than anyone else. There are some nice people but some let their neo-fame get to their heads.

Exactly and stuff like that can totally mess up your reputation. There was a fairly popular person who recently has taken to bragging about their skills in a certain contest, like going as far as posting about it on people's unrelated boards, and I can't even stand to see that person post now. I just want to be like, STFU, no one CARES *eyeroll*
