2023 clraik Pokémon Showdown Indigo Plateau Challenge!

It's time for the annual clraik Pokémon Showdown event! However this year we have a twist! This year instead of battling each other in a one on one playoff you will be taking on cK's Elite Four!

This year you will work your way up through the clraik Indigo Plateau and take on some of clraik's best Showdown Players! Defeat them all to become the Pokémon Showdown Indigo Plateau Challenge Champion!

Sign-Ups will run September 24th to October 19th.
Indigo Plateau Challenge Period will run October 20th-November 5th.

Pokémon Showdown Battle Guide

Pokémon is a strategy game, so it's recommended that you practice against real people through Showdown and learn the weaknesses of other Pokémon if you are planning on defeating all Elite Four Members. Challenging the clraik Indigo Plateau

Once you have your team selected you will work your way up through the clraik Indigo Plateau. Similar to the Pokémon game each Elite 4 Member will have it's own team theme and will become progressively more difficult.

To start your journey you will:

Challenge the first Elite Four member by clicking on their associated page link below. *These will be made active starting October 20th at the start of the event*
DM that gym leader to arrange a battle time and if you will be doing a best 2/3 match or a single battle. DO NOT post challenges in their thread, they are for replay purposes only.
Once your battle is completed post your Battle Replay on their associate Battle Page.
If you defeat the Elite Four member you move on to the next member and repeat the process. If you lose, you are done your clraik Indigo Plateau journey.

Will it be knockout style, as in we only get one shot? If we lose to any of the E4 members that's it? Or do we still get a shot to battle each member? So 4 battles and try to win x/4.
