Ohh, yeah, the arrogance. I knew there was a reason why I didn't really like DC. Now I'm torn between thinking ck should go with DC because of the conflict it'd bring to the boards, and not going with DC because they don't need another gold trophy to brag about.

I don't think the strong legit DC players would brag about it. But definitely the people that hate DC would be even more mad about it. Why not make DC villains/the most hated team ever? Their neopian perception is to be evil. Why not rectify that?

DC is the only powerhouse on that list. Those teams are all pretty "middling" and eh. They're no Darigan Citadel.

Plus honestly on the topic of everyone hating us, it's not like "legit" DC players would be able to claim it was all them and I think we'd cause mayhem. The boards would figure it out.
Faerieland is never gonna make it to podium without help so that'd be cute, but, it would be pretty cool if clraik caused the first repeat winner. It's never been done before.

ALSO
DC is one of the safest teams for us to support. It's a big team so it'd be easy for people who are running bots on their mains to blend in, even people who were on AL last year.

I'd really hate for DC to be the one to break the winner's curse. If ck is going to win this, why choose a team that is already a powerhouse? Then a certain other site can just argue that clraik rode on the coattails of DC to win, and fuck that.

I vote Moltara. FL seems fine with losing again & they always have a large amount of people who join and don't do anything, simply because they like the world. If the goal is to break the winner's curse, Virtupets would be nice since they're more middle of the pack.

I don't think that they would say that. "another certain site" would just be butthurt that the team they picked didn't win. I don't think if a ton of people ScoreSend it would be considered riding on the coattails.
