I'm with the majority on this one, PC. I like the diversity of games (I just can't get half the games I like on consoles), the indie gaming scene is awesome, games are more affordable most of the time (from my experience, I mean Humble Bundles, Steam sales, soooo cheap) and the modding communities that come with a lot of games are brilliant, like there are some games that I wouldn't look twice at on a console that I play often on PC because there's no mods, some games I just refuse to touch unless I have some degree of mods in there (for instance Minecraft). Plus I like to pirate a game to try before I buy, I hate wasting money. Lastly, I never really like the controllers for consoles, especially ones that to me are clunky like xBox I just can't do things like I could on PC, granted I'm not a good gamer anyway but I'm worse with a controller.
Another plus is being able to build a pc from specific parts based on what you need it to run and being able to upgrade those in the future for longer lifespan.
Always went with consoles due to PC being too pricy because you have to keep updating your parts. Now that my ps3 died and you have to pay to play online on the next gen consoles... pc all the way .
