I think its a chances games. The harder the level the higher the chance your dart will bounce off but then the better the prize you get if you pop a balloon. I've been playing mostly on the medium setting and the prizes haven't really been anything that special so far.... Gotta love that music though!

I have been trying on medium for like three months already and haven't gotten the avatar yet lol I think it hates me. Some people have gotten it on easy so idk if I should try on easy more often?
It's a random thing. 3 months for a random really isn't long at all; I've tried every day for years for some of the randoms and still haven't gotten them. It's annoying, but that's neo for you. Just try each day and eventually it'll come. You're better off doing it on hard though. Best chances of success.
If you read through the whole thread, you'll see that this game is actually like Coconut Shy and others in that you don't need to aim. If the RNG says this shot will pop, it'll pop even if you're not aiming. It's just luck.

Also, once you hit clraik rank, you can use Stealth CORE, which has an autoplayer in it, among other dailies.

@(you need an account to see links) just keep trying, I have played for months!!! First on medium for I can't remember how long, and nothing. Then I've decided to go on hard and sometimes didn't hit the balloon, other (few) times went well, and today finally the avatar!!!!
I always play on hard... not sure if there is any difference though. I've gotten the avatar but prizes are very rare.
I pretty much just click randomly; sometimes it hits, sometimes not. I'm not sure if there's an actual tactic to it
I read on a guide somewhere that it's already determined whether or not you'll hit, and what you'll win, as soon as you pick a difficulty and the curtain opens
