It's hard to believe that there will only be 13 episodes left after Season 6. Everything is moving so quickly after a relatively slow Season 5.
right now i am at the fourth book and stuff i'm reading is popping up in the new season, i thought/assumed they were gonna be doing things in the 5th book
The issue you're coming across is due to the fact that both the fourth and fifth book take place at the same time. Like, they both pick up immediately after the third book - they're simply focused on a different set of charactersBook 5 focuses on POVs that you don't see in Book 4(namely, across the narrow sea)!
That said, many things in the show are out of order. Many storylines in the show have passed the point where the book ends (or at least, the books that we have). Many are simply changed so much that it seems this way (such as Ramsay and Sansa's). They also have been leaving out a lot - which definitely has sped up some story lines. This has caused other storylines (especially ones of less popular characters) to sort of fall behind.
In short: The tv version is all sorts of messed up when it comes to timeline. That said, it would be hard for them not to be. Even if the show weren't based on a book series, each character has a storyline where even the simplest of actions technically take weeks or months to complete. With so many characters to keep track of - and only ~60 minutes of airtime - it's bound to get jumbled.

I have not watched the 'Battle of the Bastards' yet! (kinda fitting for Father's Day lol)
