Nothing wrong with being nerdy, it's being a jealous busybody people have issues with. It's not about caring too much, it's about selfishness. Nobody here begrudges someone else owning an UC, but these other people apparently do. Like in real life, there are people who own fancy cars and people who don't. There are people who couldn't care less about people who own fancy cars, and will perhaps save up to buy their own, and others who smash up fancy cars so that their owners are on the same level as they are - as in, neither of them now own a nice car.
EDIT: and yes I think I should be annoyed, someone smashed my fancy car.but in the end neopets is a game, just got to remember it.
