Can someone explain to me why I've gotten to 235-240 reputation several times over the course of the past 3-4 months, only to continously login to find myself back in the 220-230 range? This is probably the 3rd or 4th time this has happened.

I'm going to assume here but maybe when someone gets banned their reputation and the one they gave goes away ? Like recently Luke got banned so maybe that's why you lost some ?
I'm just assuming tho.
It would be good to know. Given the amount of times I've hit 240+ I should be well above Top CK by now. It's getting old as hell since I don't actually ask/beg/hint for reputation for my services/advice.
It's either that or some of the rep was deemed to be abuse. I have no idea TBH, but that would make sense if someone were losing rep.
It would make me wonder then how no one ever loses OC or Top CK status based on the rep one receives with long-term members that get banned. I think a sample test should be conducted. I never seemed to have this issue until I hit around 230-240 either. I know that I have been subject to random rep abuse checks. I have supported and called for them from time to time. Just seems weird that I can't break the threshold for no apparent reason. I've been at the 230-240 range since I stopped coming on as much at the end of summer.
I don't have an idea as to why either but just a reminder to everyone else;
We have to clear out any rep without a legitimate reason
We find so many people just repping their friends with "<3" and shit like that
Give a legitimate reason for rep people
