Most people thought it was about both Picasso and Escobar, however Kanye tweeted that it is in reference to Paul the Apostle. He doesn't really rap about Paul though. The album is about transformation and uses references to Paul the Apostles transformation.
I feel like the majority of Kanye haters don't understand him at all...
If you guys actually listened to Kanye's music and his overall message you'd probably see he's nowhere near as bad as the tabloids had ya'll believe lol

You are right though, I do not know what his actual message would be with something like this.
I haven't listened to it, but if its anything like Yeezus there's no positive message. I listen to Common Market, Atmosphere, Brother Ali, Wrekonize. Artists with deep meaning and subject matter whether it be about government, life struggles, how to overcome obstacles, etc. I don't care about a nice beat, being rich, or fucking bitches. That shit was cool when I was 17. Now I want music that makes me think and have to listen to it multiple times to decipher the message. I'm still discovering double entendres and lines that I never understood before even though I've heard the song 50 times. That's why I don't like Kanye, and I think that's okay. I'm not hating on him, my initial post was a joke, but I don't care for his music.
Edit: That cheeky bastard knows how to stay relevant though, I'll give him that.
