Need help with VPN and deleting account.../free account

Hi!

So title says a lot. If someone more experienced with some time tomorrow could help me, I used foxy proxy before but I need to use a VPN for like.... an hour tomorrow, preferably I address somewhere in the North East USA.

I still have foxy proxy on that browser if I am able to use it with a VPN? I don't know if a VPN is like a proxy generator or a thing I actually have to download and buy? I was hoping I could use someone elses....

I can also possibly give the "shell" account to someone on here who I would trust A LOT (I have been on here a few years and lurk a lot) for FREE.

250+ avatars
2 vwn pets, both have painted petpets 6000+ days old, both BD stats
some stamps
items in SDB.... idk about bank

account has been inactive for 7-8+ years, minimum.

Please PM me for info.... basically I need advice to get rid of this account or give it to someone else to use as a shell or them do what they want then delete the account.

With regards to FoxyProxy - I've had a look at it and it seems to be a (paid) VPN/proxy service. The difference between VPN and a proxy comes down to encryption - proxies won't hide you from your ISP or the government, but they will hide your IP from Neopets, while VPN will do both. There are free VPN services but they come with limitations.

You can get proxies from many different places - both free and paid, both shared (multiple users) and dedicated (you're the only user).
FoxyProxy is a browser extension you can use to manage your proxies. FoxyProxy also sells proxies, but you can use and manage ANY proxy with the FoxyProxy browser extension.
A proxy will only change the IP of the application (most often, a browser) that it has been entered into.
I believe there is a third-party program (Proxifier) that makes a proxy behave like a VPN, and allows a proxy to be used on all outgoing connections. I've never used it though.

VPNs are both free and paid as well. Free ones often have monthly data limits, forced advertising, and speed caps.
Many free VPN are location limited, and expand locations once you pay.

The main difference is a VPN changes ALL outgoing internet connections to use it's IP and location, where a proxy is app-specific.

I ended up using Epic Privacy Browser and just getting on to make sure the account didn't have old neomails or what I could tell was any connection to me!

And someone had mailed me much earlier today with advice and I told them the situation, more advice, and I also decided to go ahead and give them the account!
