I think my dog is an addict.

Bought some new dog treats last week, and I swear she is addicted to them LOL. Literally every 30 mins - an hour she begs for more and won't stop crying unless I give her one and if she doesn't get one for a while, she acts depressed . Learned my lesson from these, throwing them out . Any dog rehab centers out there?

.... Of course your fucking dog is going to beg for more if you 'award' her for begging and crying. Giving her treats after that behavior indicates she's doing a good job and the right thing. My advice. STOP FEEDING HER THE FUCKING THINGS LOL XD

Yeah but she hasn't done this with any other dog treat and I've fed her the same exact way XD I'm still gonna go with the addict excuse

Basic psychology; operant conditioning at its finest.

The question is, who's training who?

-Is your dog increasing frequency of crying to get more dog treats; positive reinforcement?
-Or are you increasing frequency of giving dog treats to avoid making your dog cry; negative reinforcement?

...maybe your dog is smarter than you, bro.

*claps* Modbutt <3 That's where I was coming from. Negative reinforcement. Obviously his dog knows it can get what it wants if it whines for it. :p

Yeah I'd have to agree with ya there, sometimes I feel like I'm her bitch.
