ender's game and house of leaves. two amazing books well worth your time if you pick them up.

I love the Lord of the Rings books. I also really enjoyed the Lost World books back in elementary.

Wow I'm really surprised no one has mentioned Chuck Palahniuk. He's the guy who wrote Fight Club. Excellent movie but not many people know its a book. Though I have to say many of his other books are much better (I would recommend Haunted, Lullaby and Invisible Monsters, among others). Hands down my favorite writer ever. A lot of you sick fucks on clraik would love him
Other favorites I'd have to say are A Clockwork Orange (absolutely genius, literary legend), A Thousand Splendid Suns, A Million Little Pieces and My Friend Leonard, Slaughterhouse V, and of course Harry Potter
