I actually started watching this to pass time a few days ago. I was really surprised at how good it was.
The movies were okay though I preferred the anime. I am yet to finish the second film as it was late and i fell asleep though my partner wasnt impressed with the ending.
It was okay.
Was a bit boring to me actually. If you like those dark type movies check out :
Deadman Wonderland
It's about a middle school boy one day going to class and something devastating happens and he ends up getting convicted for something he didn't do.
He winds up going to prison where people have special powers they create out of their own blood. He starts to learn about it etc and let's just say a lot of people die. It's a dark movie.

I think the live action version is pretty good but the anime and manga is so much better

I liked the first season a couple of years ago, but stopped watching after that.
