    2015 Father's Day is June 21st

Not even one month after my dad's birthday, lol. I have some planning to do.

Funnily enough my sister and I just talked to our dad about this...

We were going to originally take him to this lovely Indian restaurant in a much richer county (ours is pretty well off) where they have like curried salmon, shrimp, butter chicken, and a chef on standby to make eggs/french toast. The place is also decorated like a traditional Indian palace which is pretty legit. Unfortunately, that would probably warp most of my paycheck along with my sisters and I'm moving up north in two months so...

Instead, we're taking him out to a slightly less expensive grill-esque restaurant right next to our house. It's also next to an ice cream parlor which he sometimes enjoys. I feel like he's gotten to be so old that he personally just enjoys doing simpler, easier things now. Kind of nice for us, too lol.

That sounds very nice; I would enjoy getting ice-cream too haha. I'm sure what matters to him most is spending time with you.

Me and my mother are gonna make him homemade lunch and drive up to his work during his break. Then we are gonna get a basket and fill it up with lots of small surprises all wrapped so he can open one up each day. Mother is planning on writing a jar full of encouraging words on little slips. Cant wait to see his reaction to what I got him when he comes home from work on fathers day!!

That is a really cute idea. I might have to steal that for next mother's day.

Hopefully, I won't have work or at least get off earlier so I can spend time with my dad.
We like to go to the beach together and go for walks when he doesn't work.
Maybe get some lunch or dinner.

I'd also like to draw him something but I don't know what.

Sure, go for it!! Also when he finally gets a day off of work we are probably going to go somewhere and just spend family time. We like to surprise him every year but we are sure hes gonna be astonished with the plans this year.

I never get along with my father, but always try to do something special in his birthday and father's day. This year I'm giving him tickets for Deep purple (he always loved them ).

I actually will be in South Africa on father's day, but I plan to celebrate with him before I leave.
So far I have gotten him a nice Chaps polo shirt, and plan to get him this cool Yeti mug that I have seen him look at and freak out over once before.
