Preset closet NP item glitch

So I know there is a glitch that traps NP items onto your pet from the old preset customization days. I have a very expensive NP bg on one of my pets and I cannot pound this pet I don't wanna risk losing it xD I did try transferring which freed some of the items but not the np ones. Other than mailing tnt which i really don't wanna do am I just screwed?

You could try pounding the pet perhaps? If you think you're fast enough to pick it back up.

Mine was stuck until I lab zapped it and it changed colour.

Pounding does the trick for the np items; transferring keeps them

Thanks ya'll. Yeahhhh i'm a bit nervous to pound this pet as it's a 2 letter xD and I really love her color ugh but maybe zapping might be the way to go tbh. xD Thank you for letting me know about the lab ray!!

Update: tried it on my side and it didn't work, it did work on my main. But the issue on my main was a slightly difference circumstance.

Thank you for the update!! I guess i'm better off just leaving my pet be then ^-^; Forever leaving them permanently with their v. expensive BG XD ugh. I was thinking about trading this pet too...I wish something would knock off the NP stuff. At least there was a workaround for NC stuff. XD Thanks so much for the updates tho!

Just curious but why are you so averse to putting in a ticket? If you're worried about them digging into where you got the pet from or something like that, they truly do not have the time nor care to do more than the utter bare minimum of what your ticket is about.

This is gonna sound obvious but have you tried replacing it with a cheaper BG and see if it swaps?

No worries, i'm down to try anything except pounding. Unless I had an army waiting to scoop her up if I don't get her first. But yeah i've tried swapping NP & NC bgs, i've even bought duplicate of the NP items that are stuck (minus the really expensive ones) and it didn't fix it. It acts like it saves and we are all good, but then when I try to apply the BG to another pet it errors and says it's still equipped to the OG pet it's stuck on. When I go back to the OG pet after it errors it then shows TWO BGs eqquiped xD
