d00d I just finally started watching this show and WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG TO START. LEGIT MY FRIENDS HAVE BEEN TELLING ME TO WATCH IT SINCE FOREVER. I just finished the episode where
The voice actors have exceeded my expectations, the action sequences are brilliantly choreographed and animated, and they've got such ~*~*~* cultural *~*~*~ undertones to it that it brings a tear to my Chinese eyes
Favourite character so far is Toph like wow she is SASSY
Least favourite is Azula. Why she gotta be so cruel

One of my favorite shows!! It is so so good. The live action film was such a let down, though.

I love avatar SOOO much. When it ended I wanted to cry. When they did The Legend of Korra I fan girled so hard. I hope they one day continue with another avatar series but I know the first will always be the best!

this series is one of those few i still watch from time to time when i see it while I'm browsing.
that gif you have in your op is one of a couple absolute favorite sequences i have in the series as a whole (I won't go into it, though it helps bring a little more light to Azula's behavior).
but yeah stay farfarfar away from the live-avtion unless you just want to be severely disappointed/make sarcastic commentary. especially considering the director.

I'm obsessed with this series! You should watch the Legend of Korra after you finish Avatar =D it's a continuation of the series, it's deffo not as good as Avatar but still very enjoyable, and there's more stuff that you learn about the Gaang in Korra as well c: Abd perhaps maybe pick up the graphic novels too! They aren't that bad but I still prefer the series.
Also Zuko is my fave c: liked him from his first introduction in book 1 xD

I'm hoping the graphic novels can expand a bit more on the world design, because there is simply so much to the history, cultures, everything, that the show didn't have time to cover!

Oh yes! I haven't read all the novels but they do expand on Zuko's past a bit more xD I won't say anymore since I don't want to spoil it for you c: and I agree with Zuko's development, he becomes so much more lovable as the series goes on, thanks to Iroh of course =D
Edit - stay away from the movie, it's such a disappointment D:
