Hi guys. I'm not new to lurking, but I thought I'd finally register. I play legit, but I'm getting super sick of it super fast, especially since I played dodgy when I was a kid. Anyway, you guys have a great thing going on here, and I love to come read your posts because people here are pretty genuine. I pretty much do not talk to anyone on neopets boards, because have you seen the PC and AC? Ew. Anyway, thanks for being an interesting community!

I agree, people here are much cooler than anybody on the neoboards. Here, there are so many more possibilities that nobody needs to be fake or put up a front to get ahead in the game. We have much more fun our way anyway

Haha, I just have a few questions. What do people think of scammers here, as in scamming items off other neopets users? And I guess this is obvious, but I should be pretty exclusive about who I give my neopets username too, right? In case I get rep0tted.

Scammers as in peoe who scam things onsite, like taking items that are lent and running with them? That kinda stuff is usually frowned upon now a days. But taking things from inactive accounts is a norm. Occassionally actives get hit too, but that's accepted here as well.. It's just the way things go sometimes
And you should keep your neo username to yourself for now, or at least don't post it all over the place! Haha

I found neopets more fun when I had people to play with, but like I said, I would much rather play alone than get to know any of the typical board posters... However, this is all just figurative, any reasons to give it out are outweighed by the potential consequences.
The reason I asked about the scamming was just to see where you guys draw the line, I already figured you don't like people who report or snoop around. Anything else I should know about the attitudes here?
