try meditation, when you try sleeping, turn off every single type of distraction,a and lie in bed, close your eyes and envision the blackness you see when your eyes are closed, embrace the blackness, become the blackness, it is empty, it is sleep, slow your breathing, slow your mind, think of nothing but black emptyness, let it envelope you, you become the black emptyness and you keep your breathing slowed and soon you will fall asleep

    is there anything triggering it?
    change in weather, work, stress
    are you having naps?

try some melatonin, it's an OTC medication. it's your body's natural sleep hormone and barely has any side effects. 3mg should be effective

Heh. I stay up till about 2-3AM every night, zombie during the day (although I function enough to pay attention in classes) and then nap 2 hours after classes are over. Rise and repeat.

    Can't wait for summer *_*

gotta find a way to calm your mind, that might be the main reason why you can't sleep

Try as best you can not to nap during the day. Or if you do have to nap, do it earlier in the day
