According to the r/Neo discord the OP found that pet in the pound.. its named "FreakSh0w" I guess in reference to the Neoboard post..

Would be cool though if it did some how relate, but I doubt it.

I am very much enjoying some of the theories everyone is coming up with on the board, but I am ready for TNT to eventually come out and say it was all coincidence, or ignore it completely (thats much more on brand)..

If anything hopfully they can see there are a lot of people that are interested in solving actual puzzles and not just clicking links to complete the event.

The original news for that day did not mention anything about a yellow korbat morphing potion though, with or without a "0" in the name.
It did mention something else but it wasn't that morphing potion lol

Well, I'll just say the news that is up and active now is not what I was originally. I'm currently trying to buy what was originally mentioned in the news to use the MP on my pet to rule out whether it does or does not give out an avatar. My guess is it will not. My other guess is that maybe it gives you an av for having this item in your inventory. My other OTHER guess is the specific MP originally mentioned may elude to a certain neo character who could be involved in the plot. I'll update once these sellers reply back to me and sell me their stuff!

Its been confirmed that using a Yellow Korbat MP doesn't do anything, other than change your pet into a Yellow Korbat.. so save your NP!

So far all this puzzle hunting has achieved is making Yellow Korbat MPs UB so.. if you are hoarding a bunch then lucky you

Also.. there is potentially a guess at the 2nd Neo post now, near the bottom of page 6

Wow that's some amazing sleuthing on the boards, reminds me of going through the very first few plot solutions on JN and being amazed at the obscurity that people must have gone through to solve those plots.

I agree, I've said it before an I've said it again. This is one my favourite parts about neopets and always brings me back to the frenzy of the Lost Desert Plot!

JN news archive as no mention of this at least and the potion itself was released on 6th december 2000.
i'd think that if the post was there all along it would have been mentioned as an oddity by JN in their news on that day or the coming day.
