Hearing of Toriyama-san passing really put me in a bad mood this week. But one nice thing is seeing everyone in the discord's I'm in and even on Facebook and Youtube sharing their Dragon Ball/Dragon Quest stories. DBZ was a huge part of my life when I was young. I can remember frantically flipping through channels on our old tube TV at 5 o'clock every day to watch DBZ on Toonami after school. Even after all these years Toriyama's work is near and dear to me. My son was born abroad while we lived in Japan, and the first outfit we put him in leaving the hospital was a Onesie with the "Son" Kanji on it that Gohan wears. And right now a "King of Worlds" symbol is hanging on my wall. It hurts to lose Toriyama, but I love that his legacy is so far reaching.
