He and I don't talk much, but it is incredibly obvious to see that balancing both real life and Neopets causes the guy some stress. Honestly, I admire him for his ability to step away when he needs it. And I really hope he gets the rest he needs.

I think I saw Joe mention that he was away for a bit when I asked about PMs not going through. They were stuck in moderation mode while he was enjoying some down time. I’m sure Bat is doing the same and enjoying some downtime too. I hope so anyway. A lot of work goes on behind the scenes that we don’t even see. A lot of upgrades and QOL improvements to make ck better and safer overall

To echo what other have said I am sure he is getting some much needed R and R and has logged off for a bit to ensure he gets it. Or on the flip side maybe his really job has a big project with deadlines that need to be met and he needs to ensure he is focused on that.

I hope it is the former as Bat deserves some much needed rest. All the work behind the scenes to run things is huge. The programming and continued editing for the Ryu virus event was massive and tight behind that Bat was huge in helping hear from @(you need an account to see links) and myself to plan and get the cupid event up and going with a new programmed feater as well. This is on tops of moderation, any side projects and fiddling general questions on any given day.

All that said I hope Bat is getting all the well deserved rest and relaxation he needs. 😀
