Was following neocord as it got rolled out, and seems like there are WAY more cons to this than pros.

Its certainly not something I'll be signing up for any time soon. The only cool feature now would be seamlessly swapping through my side accounts - but I can do that now as it is since I use different browsers for them lol

i just read the JN post and it looks like they are changing most of the stuff i hated (such as your email being locked in) but im still gonna hold off til they iron out the kinks if i even wind up using it. JN says theres some glitches with neocash redemption and premium right now. and the features they are changing won't be updated until june. ill probably wait closer to then

I think it was mentioned that neopass would help against botting, with this new login method, there's bound to be issues for SS and AC. Thoughts?

i'm not signing up for neopass until most/all of the bugs/kinks get sorted out. I've heard people getting frozen/locked out their accounts and I'm terrified of that happening to me

The only thing about it that interests me is future special rewards which, if I really want, I will sign up a throwaway account on a bogus email for it and reap whatever benefits it entails.

TNT has done a lot through the years to combat botting yet here we still are. The feature is currently riddled with bugs and errors and even a past staff member dissed Neopass as a whole.

I'm sure it'll do wonders to stop cheating.

They really shouldn't have done this before fixing the spaghetti code Neo is so well known for. I'm not trying it until its either no longer optional or the prizes are too good to miss

another post about neopass, confirming from a neopets intern that neopass aint whats its cracked up to be or anything actual players wanted
(neo-punks has posted legit info about stuff on tumblr before and either is or was an intern at neopets at one point, they mostly reblog neopets art on the account but occasionally post some inside info, nothing too crazy though, i feel like this is the first post ive seen thats a lil more critical)

i think someone said after linking an account you have to log in thru Neopass directly, it wasn't letting you log on the normal login.phtml page. anyone experience that?

Yes, that's the intention and Dom confirmed it when he had the recent AMA. The Neopass login is different/mandatory when you enroll since the current login page is too difficult of a task for current TNT members to fix the code for.
