what are your YT/streaming genres of choice?

recently, the youtube algorithm decided i like watching vlogs of people, primarily women, who live in japan just living their normal/aesthetic lives. and the algorithm was RIGHT. but what genres are you watching, that maybe i have no idea about?

I used to be big into the scambaiting community. I still help out but I don't watch as much. It can get nasty so there's a bit too much negativity going around. Scammers do whatever it takes to empty the bank accounts of the vulnerable. Now, I watch gaming. Cozy type stuff for background noise while I'm working, or competitive pokemon if I feel like relaxing and not doing anything. I agree though, those vlogs are interesting.

I watched some animal crossing streamers during the pandemic, I found that really relaxing and should check back in with them. Now I watch houseplant youtubers like unplant parenthood and jungle haven for my soothing times. I also watch driving channels like clearview driving and ashley neal who do mock driving tests and driving fail type videos - started watching them when I was learning to drive and now I'm fond of them so still do.

I mostly have crime videos, gameplays, reviews, or speedruns of video games playing in the background when I play my own games. I usually listen to RDCWorld1 for gameplay or channels like Bismouth and Summoning Salt for speedrun videos.
