Palworld - Early Access

See, I was thinking some of the Pals were just a little too close to some Pokemon to the point of being suspicious of AI. There are other Pokemon games like Nexomon (1 and 2), Coromon, Monster Sanctuary, ect. that don't have 1:1 models that match like Palworld does. Granted, Gamefreak/Nintendo don't own the genre of monster collecting, but they're cutting it really close with some of these Pals.

How do they know there is no evidence of AI? Just curious is all.

Not entirely sure the poster didnt get too far into that. More of their review. Ill do some research when i land and see what i can come up with as far as an answer!

Aside from AI, their notification of a new area is a bit too close to Zelda BOTW too...even the font looks the same.

I have been playing this for the past couple of nights and really enjoying my time with it so far. It's designed to be a multiplayer game, but is still fun solo. However, I'm not sure how I'll be able to fight the big bosses by myself. Monster designs are super close to Pokemon and other monster collector games so I am sure a lawsuit from Nintendo will be coming soon.

It might be hard for Nintendo to prove that Palworld actually stole their models since they look just different enough to not be called a blatant rip-off (most of them at least.) And the gameplay is quite different as well which helps their case. But I've been playing it for a few days now and I've been loving it, I've always wanted a BOTW-style Pokemon game and this is the best there is at the moment

The person who said they were 1:1 models lied because they hate animal abuse and flat out admitted they lied when they got caught.

That said it's 11/10 one of the best games I ever played
