Yeah, I've see a Palmon that looks exactly like Lucario haha, some of them are really obvious. The articles I've seen said it'll cost $30 on Steam, but I'm not sure if it'll be on Gamepass or not? I don't have an Xbox so I can't check.

Oh sail the seas I go then lol. I guess they made a ripoff game based off of botw before this one? I mean I usually care about plagiarism but the game looks fun so I'll obtain and play it. Nintendo does not go easy on stuff like this so I'm curious to see if they do anything. Probably best to get it now before it potentially gets taken away or something. I would hate to make nintendo an enemy lol

from some comments i read up, its a survivel with pokemon elements as well as zelda and even ark

im going to let it cook for a bit, but it mos def looks super super fun to play. the fact i can capture someone and then butcher them i quit wild to me.

Husband plays it on the PC with the Gamepass.
I first thought it was Pokemon, never heard of that game before. Then I thought it would funny for the kids, and then my spouse showed me, you can butcher them. Pretty brutal.

Yeah day 1 early access release no less. I have heard very mixed opinions on it… so I think I’ll wait a bit before I give it a go on GamePass personally.

I respectfully implore that anyone who put down money for this game or who is playing it through the gamepass please issue a refund and cease playing it if they at all care about artistic integrity, especially as more issues with AI, plagiarism and general theft continue to crop up and get worse and worse. Yes, I understand, this is "just" Nintendo and Gamefreak being stolen from and some people may find it funny, but if they get away with it on that level, there is absolutely nothing that will stop them from doing it to smaller or independent creators.

If you simply must play the funny Pokémon with guns simulator ft. slavery despite the above (and many more examples circulating on Twitter), then at the very least find another method of doing so that does not support the developer in any way. No, gamepass is not good enough.

Oof, I have to say I've been quite interested in learning more about this game the last couple of days but seeing your post has really given me pause. I can't believe Nintendo and Game Freak won't engage in a bit of legal smackdown over this o_o

They likely will, but they will probably need to gather more evidence on their side before moving forward with such things.

This. The game lost me at beating up the creatures tbh. I've seen people play this on streams just out of curiosity. I've spent a couple of years training AI....and something seems....off about the production for sure.

My partner showed me a video about it last night and I went from being oooo realistic open world pokemon clone to... Wait you beat up and enslave the pals???

I'm just too weak-hearted for this xD
