We always love the nostalgia of old games, and I am no exception. I thought I'd make a thread for us to share those first games we fell in love with!
My faves were:
Spy vs Spy
Ty the Tasmanian Tiger
Scaler
Spyro
Ratchet and Clank (mainly Up Your Arsenal was the one I played the heck out of)
I remember sitting in the lounge with my Grandma as she played Spyro and Ratchet and Clank (yes my Grandma!!) and I would do the hard levels she couldn't get past
Share your stories, and fave games!

Yo Ty was the bomb!!! It was hard iirc, but loved the scenes because I love animals and loved the accuracy of the Australian wildlife. Ranger Ken was my fave!
My comfort zone games are:
- Crash Bandicoot Warped
- Crash Team Racing (infinitely better than Mario Kart and I will die on this hill)
- Banjo Tooie
- Ratchet and Clank 2: Going Commando
- Spyro the Dragon 1
- Rollercoaster Tycoon
And these old AF kinda janky PC games that for some reason just get me so hyped
Lords of Magic (my dad bought it for like 2 cents at Best Buy lmao):
Dungeon Odyssey (I still listen to this soundtrack and one of the songs I use to this day as my alarm...the music from the village):
Am I the only one who remembers the shoot the duck game for the N64 I believe it was?
Also, original Pokemon Blue/Red/Yellow.
StarFox Adventures
Sonic 2 Adventure

Hell yeah so good! I completely forgot about pokemon tbh
I just remember a few scenes of Ty, I'm very tempted to get the remastered switch version even though I've heard it isn't that great

Fusion Frenzy on the OG xbox. I fucking LOVED that game so much. It was local multiplayer but no one ever played with me so I spent hours playing the mini-games against CPUs. It was so fun.
I also loved playing The Urbz: The Sims on the OG xbox as well. Such a banger of a game tbh. I also played a lot of Golden Sun on the Gameboy, and of course Pokemon Blue and Pokemon Crystal. And the OG Sims on PC and xbox too!
Possibly a little older for the majority of peeps here, but the OG Commander Keen series and even Hugo's House of Horrors series. I grew up playing these on our ancient old school PC back in the day and spent countless hours enjoying every bit of these relics <3 Anyone else had the pleasure of playing some older masterpieces?
Commander Keen series
Hugo's House of Horrors
Duke Nukem 1
and more recently....
Duke Nukem 3D
Redneck Rampage
Outlaws
Carmageddon
Oh man, the nostalgia, really hits the spot :o Mighht have to go back and revisit these classics on GOG or something...
Massive thanks toHollow for this amazing piece of artwork!
my favs were pokemon sapphire and ruby, dragon quest ix, and super mario on the n64 :3
The nostalgia on all of these is so good! Loving everyone's variety!

Ohhh I just thought of another couple that I recently started playing again :o
Rollercoaster Tycoon (there's a 'new' version of it released a few years ago called Roller Coaster Tycoon: Classic which is playable on tablets/phones AND through Steam on PC). Played countless hours and hours of this one back in the day. I still remember all of the peep names that you could name them to change different attributes towards your park.
and the age old classics, Age of Empires series <3 Spent many an hour or several whilst at school in IT class (supposed to be doing actual school work..... yeah, nah) playing multiplayer LAN's with my mates
Massive thanks toHollow for this amazing piece of artwork!
