How did you begin the 1st day of 2024?

They say breakfast is the most important part of the day! I say, it is also the most important way to start of the year!

So, once I woke up, I began making breakfast. I had to make sure my King had a great breakfast to start his year off, as well as my momma! And of course, me as well!!!

Yes it is a hu8ge breakfast but I didn't over eat. So I am happy about that!

I started the new year off mopping the kitchen floor at 1am while listening to my neighbour singing terrible karaoke apparently all by herself.

This morning I drove to the only local supermarket open and bought a new hairbrush, two discounted cereal bowls, some cheese, some chocolate and a lemon meringue pie. Then I started work, and I've just finished.

I'm not sure this is overly auspicious for the year ahead! They're good cereal bowls, though.

I slept in and ate some pancakes and applesauce for breakfast, but we are going out for ramen in about an hour and that will be my special start the year out meal!

oh that sounds fantastic!!!! I love a good ramen!!! I am making triple fudge brownies for the hubby and going through my makeup and clothes to try and declutter things I don't wear often or at all.
