Oh I have always wanted to go to Thailand. It is for sure a bucket list destination for me. As well as Hawaii, New Zealand, Scotland, Ireland...... Haha the list goes on.
For Christmas and new years propper we are staying home and just visiting family locally. However, just before the Christmas chaos our family was able to escape to the Mayan in Mexico for 10 days of sun, relaxation and maybe a few too many mojitos haha. I will share some pictures here when I can upload them.
Can't wait to see more Holiday adventures!

Our Holiday plans have changed around a bit, so now I think the plan is to just beg the airline to let us extend the voucher. I'd love to travel for the eclipse in April, but we'll see how it all goes!
I'm always awake at midnight, but I'm happy to treat being awake as only mildly more exciting than any other time being awake.
Omg those pictures from your trip are amazing! Especially the last one!
I've never been to Thailand but if I'd ever get a chance that would be amazing.
There isn't really a break where I live during this time sadly. So can't really do a lot of traveling. I do have some plans to late February if it still counts!

Yeee, I would suggest local hawker food at places like Maxwell Food Centre (Tian Tian Chicken Rice is pretty good), Newton Food Centre, and Old Airport Road Food Centre. If you'd like to try Peranakan cuisine, you can't go wrong with Violet Oon. There are several outlets around the island; National Kitchen by Violet Oon at National Gallery Singapore would be a good bet as the National Gallery is a museum in the civic district and surrounded by various landmarks. Chilli crab is a must-try; JUMBO Seafood and Palm Beach Seafood are two popular restaurants that serve the dish.
jealous of the singapore talk, i visited with family years ago and the food really is amazing!
this holiday season we are travelling to visit my family in new york city! i grew up there but live in chicago now, so it will be nice to be "home" for a week. im definitely getting pizza and bagels!
custom userbars by @lyrichord (argyle) and @charmander (guilmon ryu)! thank you so much!
New York looks so pretty at Christmas Time! I would love to travel there at some point I just don't know how I would manage in such a HUGE city haha. But I think I just going at Christmas Time and seeing the lights and the big tree would maybe make it worth the stress haha.
