Looking for chill game recommendations;

Hi all, I've been having some whack health issues lately and have been dealing with the fun host of anxiety that comes with all that-- I find it helpful to have something to focus on that keeps my brain busy but isn't too stressful as to rocket my blood pressure (where the health issue is);

I've been playing plenty of Stardew Valley, Stardew Valley Expanded, Pokemon, Animal Crossing, and pressure wash simulator (lol). Do you guys have any MUST PLAY underrated favs? I love to check out new games, and I thought no better a crowd to ask than you cool cats.

Do you like rhythm games? If so, try playing Melatonin! The game is so aesthetically pleasing and the music is fun and it just has an overall dreamy vibe!

Games that are similar to what you already play would be Sun Haven, Little Witch in the Woods, Lawn Mowing Simulator (my husband loves power wash simulator and he recommended lawn mowing simulator for you LOL), Unpacking, Chicory, Lake.

There’s a zillion more but those are some I’ve played recently!

Hey, sorry to hear you're currently going through it.

Have you played Fe? You play as a little forest creature who is trying to save his home from being taken over by a mysterious force of evil. It is a game without words so you get to experience the story purely by interacting with the world. The soundtrack and visuals are very calming and beautiful, plus IMO the story itself is well done

I'm sorry to hear you're going through these issues! I wish you the best!

I absolutely love all the games you mentioned lol so here are my recommendations with a brief description for each:

- Unpacking - 2-4 hours of playtime, literally just unpack boxes and follow along to the story. Very cute!
- A Little to the Left - Similar vibe? Simply organize parts of a home. It is so relaxing, cute cats!
- Starbound - Minimal combat (like Stardew mines), but very cool space exploration and the music is so good/chill.
- Dave the Diver - Minimal combat as well, you fish and sell sushi... collecting all the fish is super cool and you discover an underwater civ. It's super fun and engaging!
- Escape Simulator - Nothing like the other games but it's a very cool escape room game with a very active modding community and tons of custom escape rooms. No jumpscares or anything, it's super fun and practically endless if you play the community rooms as well!

If you enjoy games like Stardew and Animal Crossing, I'd highly reccomend checking out Palia!
They're a newer game with elements of farming, resource gathering, gift-giving, house modelling etc in an open-world concept with a few fun quest lines.
It's still on the new side and in beta, but it's completely free and super cozy

Dave the Diver and Dredge are good fishing games.

Spiritfarer is another one of my favorites; it has fishing and a bit of gardening but it is about ushering spirits to the afterlife, so it does tug on the heartstrings a bit, but doesn't raise my blood pressure - I hope I made that make sense lol. The music and art in these games are awesome as well. I hope you feel better soon.

I love slime rancher, the music is enjoyable and the slimes way too cute

I haven't been playing the game itself a lot, but sometimes I just explore and enjoy the music and the map.
