What are you most proud of yourself for achieveing this year?

This year has been kind of a lot, so I'm happy to just make it to the end of it.

An actual achievement I'm proud of would be finding a fitness hobby that I enjoyed and sticking with it.
It gives me some hope for next year to see what I can do by the end of 2024

congrats on your perfect GPA (your university is capped at a maximum of 4.0, right?)!! i've always been the "not smart" guy back in the uni-days. achieving 4.0 is like a crazy feat that i'd never imagine myself doing so!

so far for this year, im proud of myself for surviving 1month+ running on 2-4hrs of sleep/day taking care of my newborn. not an easy task, especially with kid, work, personal life out of work, etc. but still proud of myself for keeping my girl alive! 😂

Yes, my school caps GPA’s at 4.0 so I was SHOCKED! It was a long and gruelling semester.. but I survived!

Going back to work after maternity leave

I got a new car, I'm very happy about it because I was saving for long time

Next year goal: Finish that debt and get another debt lol (in a responsible way ofc, I do handle my money for me to be calm haha)

I had 2 major surgeries this year with a serious, 6-9 month recovery process (my surgeon said it's in his opinion the worst thing you can physically put a person through, lol)

At the same time as navigating a PhD, moving in with my partner, and a big family bereavement

2023 has been ~a year~ and I can't wait to be physically back up and running again

My partner and I did however get a wonderful cat and he's been a real light in the bad times

Sounds like a lot of people here have had it hard too, wishing you all a great 2024~

I spent a little over the last year doing something extremely regularly (where I'm normally a flake lol) that is for the most part outside of my comfort zone! I'm very proud that I stuck with it and put in a lot of effort despite it being something not big on the scale of impact or roi but I genuinely had a good time with it and I'm super thankful for all my friends who have been supporting me from the start.

Another thing I am proud of this year is the relationships I have built between myself and the children I work with. I have developed some very meaningful and strong bonds with my tiny humans, and I see evidence of it every day. Though I have no biological children of my own, all of the tiny humans I teach and care for I consider "my" children. It makes me happy when they seem guidance and comfort from me during their most formative years. I want to make sure I can be the safe and trusting adult that the inner child in me needed, for these children now.
