Not allowing me to create a reply to a thread I started

Trying to post a reply to my thread in the poetry competition thread, but it's just auto defaulting to updating my first post? I want to be able to do a couple separate posts for better formatting for my poems. Have tried quick reply + advanced reply, no luck.
Thank you Lyrichord for the userbar!

I want to say it's 3 hours for consecutive posts to remain separate? I make sure to read everything, so no worries there! ^^ I'm looking forward to reading them!

Ooooh, ok ok, that makes sense.
Thanks for letting me know! I wasn't aware of the hour limitation, never had to post anything consecutively like this before.
Thank you Lyrichord for the userbar!
