Faerie Festival change to October 2nd
Fair Neopians, we have some breaking news: although Queen Fyora was excited to unveil a new and improved Faerie Festival event this year on September 20th, forecasts of a particularly severe storm blowing in from Mystery Island have caused the Faerie Queen to delay the event.
Since the storm is setting records for unusually high winds 🌪️ the Festival has been rescheduled to October 2nd for the safety of attending Neopians. While the delay is disappointing for all involved, a little extra time before the festival means that Queen Fyora and her team have more time to work their magic.
Rest assured, Neopians—when October 2nd arrives, you will be treated to a celebration like no other. 🧚*♀️✨

I really want to be optimistic for the new ownership but this doesn't sit right for me.
Its nothing that users wouldn't have been understanding of. We get it, sites in new hands, lots of things need done and caught up. So just SAY THAT.
"Sorry, we bit off more than we can chew. We are overly ambitious and excited to get content for you while fixing the backlog of issues. Going forward we will be more realistic with timelines and our communication with you all." BOOM. Problem solved.

I was so excited for the traffic the event would bring, what a shame as its been dead. I hope that is the only delay!
Day of the event announcement is pretty awful though ngl I agree.
