Since I'm not the only HT fan here I figured it was topical to share this! I'm also a big Safiya Nygaard fan and although I haven't had time for a while to keep up with Cristine's videos, I still watch every video Safiya puts out, and of course I had to give this a watch! It's so fun to see them collab together and man I wish I was in Raleigh for some of that gorgeous polish. 🤩 Anyone else have thoughts on the Safiya x Holo Taco collab set? Honestly if I had more disposable income right now I'd probably want to splurge on it, darker shades are definitely my jam and there are some gorgeous colors there!

I've been meaning to ask if you'd seen this!! I got the set earlier today. (Just the polishes). I'm not a teal fan, so I'll be saving it as a Christmas present for one of my friends. Like you, I've watched every Safiya video for easily the last 5 years. It seems like they really are besties, as are Ben and Tyler, which is just so heartwarming. I still have my ColorPop x Safiya Berry Me in Lipstick. I can't wait to have the matching nail polish! I thought about getting an extra just for collecting's sake but vetoed it for budget reasons. I was hoping to pick up I'm Over Brew with this set, but it sold out within the first 30 minutes of launch. I'm really curious just how many units they made. I'm thinking that the Modest Moss color + a little bit of Shady Navy might pull it towards that beautiful Monstera color from the collab with Julien that I missed. Fingers crossed.

Btw, @(you need an account to see links), I love that shade of dusty blue with a sparkle! I didn't know there were powders to help nails be stronger. I'm glad that helps people get their glam nails!

And just a PSA for anyone interested, according to Cristine's insta stories, the collection is already almost sold out. Now's the time to get it if you're so inclined!

Right? Like, in terms of actual genuine good and hard working people in the influencer sphere I can't think of better people than them. So I'm really happy that things are going well for HT/Cristine's business! Also speaking of Safiya, I was gutted when I saw her "boba shop takeover" video because that KFT chain is literally the one from my college town...just many years after I already graduated. 🙃

Dang I'm not surprised it's going fast! The colors are great and very timely for the spooky season. I gravitate to any individual purple colors because that's what makes me happiest to have on my nails, so I had the multichrome purple one (forgot the name) and grape slushie which I've worn for a long time. Also the aurora flakie topper is to die for! I haven't bought any of the newer releases but I'm always looking at them and window shopping haha. :'c

i always looooved getting my nails done. some of my favs i've had under the spoiler. i don't get them done anymore bc my daughter has very high maintenance curly hair that i can't do with long nails. i ordered a bunch of stuff from amazon to try to do them myself at home but i suck at it lol.

@(you need an account to see links) I only watch the occasionally Safiya video and wasn't planning on this one because I don't watch Cristine, but ended up watching last night after you posted and it was fun!

Some of the colors are super nice, but I haven't painted my own nails much in recent years, so might not be worth the investment considering the amount of unfinished bottles I have around.

I wish I could use regular nail polish on my nails. I was a constant nail biter for more than half my life so my nails when they grow are very sensitive/tender and the nails bend if too long. I've taken supplements and other girl vitamins to strengthen them to no avail. So my choice is to get dip powder nails to keep them from hurting as they grow. I just recently got my nails done about a week ago to a new color and while my nails are still short (even though I have natural length) I prefer to keep them this way since I am very heavy with my hands/fingers.

Mine are the same way, if I get them done I won’t bite them but otherwise I pretty much don’t have nails. Currently I’ve got acrylics on with a gel polish. they need to be redone pretty badly though, so I’m loving seeing all the pretty nails here! I finally have a free edge under my acrylics, I’m curious of the condition of them and if a dip would help thicken them.

Sidenote, pretty sure posting here I just got my first popsicle UB!

I can't help but feeling like the ugly duckling here since I've very rarely done my nails lol

I only done it like at most thrice on my life? Back to school I was always engaging on sports that would often crack my nails randomly while playing (I used to let them grow back then but thankfully never escalated to a serious injury) or I tended to take sports/hobbies classes that asked nails to not be long.

So it became a habit I guess to keep them short.

Then when there was a big social event and my sisters we're very insistent I got manicure done I swear I think I was cursed because ALL the few times I did my nails each person that attended me made the experience a HELL, always hurt, always bleeding, always sting... I don't remember having once time that I enjoyed it and so that reinforced the idea that doing my nails = pain

Though I must admit some designs you shared here are very cute! Are short painted nails something too? I may try in the future but by myself, I'm very scared of adding another terrible experience to my list

It hurts like hell if I catch a nail on something when I try and have them long. This past time getting my nails done I tried for a longer style but I’m going to go back to something shorter next time.

Awesome, thanks for sharing! I'm so used to keep them short for my convenience too, and all the pretty designs shown here are very inspiring!
