Someone here said that an already used code can be used again for the avatar. Is this true? Are there any downsides/repercussions anyone is aware of?

Yes the codes have shown they can be used multiple times possibly up to 5 if the redeemer encounters the 502 error when redeeming. The only downside would be if you pay for the code before trying it and it doesn't work but no you won't get in trouble.

If you receive an error while redeeming the code, you still receive the avatar and it apparently allows it to be used again. Some people are only getting one use while others can share it several times! Doesn’t seem to be intentional that it’s multiple use.
