Starting new job!

Well, it had been three months since I was last laid off but I finally did it. I officially start August 7th at a fortune 500 company in a career I love.

It was quite devastating at the start but I managed to order my personal life and enter a fresh mindset.

Neopets and this community helped me a lot of that, the memories of childhood playing around and automating with scripts, getting achievements that I would've never dreamt of achieving as a child with a littile bit of ingenuity and planning.

To celebrate I wish to support the community that had been here and there throughout this period with lifetime VIP.

I plan on being here for a while here and there. I'm not great with programming so unfortunately i'm not very useful in the scripts/program category though.

Here's hoping that the upcoming neopets change can keep it going strong!

Congratulations!! There’s nothing better than working a job you love! I hope all goes well and I’m so happy for you! Crazy how Neopets has given so many of us skill sets that we may never have obtained without playing as kids. I’m very glad so many of us can utilize our skills for careers now! I saw your other post. PM me the email addresses of the scammers and I'll keep em busy for a while lol.
As far as getting rid of them while not remaking an email address, make sure you block the address of every scam email you get. Lock down your resume on indeed, Linkedin, etc. You won't be 100% free of scammers in your inbox but it should cut it down significantly.

I know how it feels to be jobless, those hundreds or even thousands of application and the silent or rejects are the worst.
But the sun always shines again!! You just need to be patient and grind hard.
I was jobless 6 month, but I change my career drastically, so I needed to study a lot.
