Stealth Core Errors

Hello,

I have been using Stealth Core to automate my dailies, and play Battledome.

It was working fine, but as of yesterday, it is unfortunately throwing errors.

The errors are as follows (I have removed the username where appropriate):


Battledome Fighter Error - System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format.

I have tried closing and reopening the bot, cookie log in with multiple browsers, and manual login. Stopping and starting the bot. Changing BD settings. All the same errors.

My settings for the BD AP are correct, I have picked my pet (it's not sick or starving/hungry), picked the opponent, difficulty, first move, second move, etc.

How does the BD error occur? The program logs me in, checks NP, finishes logging in, goes to healing springs, starts the first fight (successfully), and then won't continue on to more.

A similar situation happens with Dailies. For example, I want the bot to go to Grumpy King, then Wise King. It will do all the same checks as the BD AP, logging me in, checking NP, etc. It will then go to Grumpy King, and then the bot will just stop in the log, but the program status says 'Grumpy King bot running'.

Seems as though this COULD be related to the issues people are having with the Stackpath stuff? Possibly timing out/not receiving a response from the servers in time, so it throws these errors? I'm sure @(you need an account to see links) and @jo3 can shed more light upon the issue though. Good luck!

If you're it's not sick or hungry, are you able to complete a battle on the browser?

It may be a problem with your network too or SP maybe. But @(you need an account to see links) would be able to give more light.

The increased workload from the Altador Cup is chewing through the Neopets server's limited hardware resources, which results in problems like the ones noted here and in other discussions. The errors above are indicating that:

1. We did not receive an intelligible response from a submission to the Neopets server
   
   
2. We could not connect to, or did not receive a reply from the Neopets server after a period of time

These problems are happening to automation and actual players alike, and the solution is to wait it out and try again. We're implementing that approach in Stealth on a case by case basis, but changes like that need a lot of careful consideration and testing. We'll get a fix out as soon as we're able.

Thanks all, glad to know it may not be just me. I also thought it may have been my network, and have tried my mini hub, Wi-Fi, and wired. All threw the same errors. I am able to complete a BD fight manually on NP in the browser. I will report back after Altador Cup and see if its any better. Cheers!

Have you tried using mobile data for your PC/Laptop? VPN? Or maybe try on a different network (work, coffee place with wifi...)

It seems strange and related to your connection. I've been using on and off SC lately and no problems so far.

What about testing on another PC?

I had been getting this error also, I've just reinstalled SC and it's been working for me since. I'd give that a go if you haven't already
