Yeah traditionally there's a lot of events.
For example, the first day there was a henna ceremony starting in the evening which went into dinner and drinks - this is where the women apply henna for the coming celebrations.
Day 2 had a brunch and the evening was a cocktail party with dinner - this has a lot of song and dance and usually the family and friends perform choreographed dances.
Day 3 the wedding happens in the morning followed by lunch. This is very traditional and there's no alcohol. And the evening has a reception where everyone gets to meet and greet the newly wedded couple.. Which then goes into dinner drinks and partying haha.

Congratulations!! I am nowhere near ready for marriage yet, but I have a very close relationship with my partner who I hope to marry one day and have talked about with ((: I appreciate my partner for always being supportive especially with my mental health. I'm often pressured by family, but they've been my rock in reminding me that I cannot constantly live for the expectations of others and that I must find my own meaning of happiness. They're the absolute sweetest on hard days by offering me head massages, blankets, food, and lots of verbal affirmation.

Haha yeah, it's usually like a day event, then a night event with nothing in the middle. Usually people book their family and friends in a hotel nearby or where the events are happening. So it's a lot of fun because you're basically on a three day party/vacation with your loved ones.
Thank you! That's so sweet that you have been lucky to find such a wonderful relationship!
Thank you so much!
