Ooh you have some good-looking herbs! I'm no expert but I think I should be able to answer some of your questions:
1) Yes! If you snip them back they will definitely grow back
2) Storage-wise, I've had good experience with freezing my thyme and mint in a closed ziploc. A friend of mine will put her herb stems into a shallow jar of water and set them in the fridge and they seem to last well, at least a few weeks.
3) I don't have a kitty so I can't attest to this, but the same friend does and grows catnip! I don't know her method exactly but I know she microwaves them to "dry" maybe? I'd be interested to see if anyone else has a method for this one.
thank you Lyrichord for the amazing avatar!
Appreciating all the tips as someone who's killed every plant they've ever owned 😭 Thanks for this thread!
A few radishes from the garden!

I basically have whatever's the opposite of a green thumb, but we're attempting to make do with some figs, tomatoes and grapes.
Also, green onions, since you only need water for those LOL.
Funnily enough both my neighbors are pretty great gardeners though, so I get to peep some pretty bushes and flowers on my down time
A few of my favourite blooms from the garden!!
so happy everything is starting to flower!!!

it really depends! usually between 1-2 months. the jonquils and anemones (lovely blue flower) are bulbs that i planted maybe.... 2-3 months ago? just depends on how long the plant takes to mature.. so from seed/ bulb it takes way longer than if you buy seedlings. i do buy seedlings sometimes but only ones that have very immature flower buds forming, if you buy them when they're already flowering (even tho it's tempting!) you only get to enjoy the flowers for a short amount of time bc who knows how long they've already been blooming for

Oh, how gorgeous! Your radishes look delicious! This time of year is my absolute favorite. Our cucumbers and summer squash have just started coming in and we've just canned our first round of pickles. Tomatoes and peppers are starting to appear and I can't wait to have my first fried squash and tomato sandwich of the summer here soon! Garden tomatoes have ruined all others for me. I won't eat them from the store anymore. Same with strawberries. They're just so much more flavorful from the garden. A whole different fruit entirely, really.
