Another message in the Neocord also said the "chase subsets" are rare. Apparently, you need to buy, on average, 18 packs a week for 9 weeks to get the entire set.
No thank you, bad luck trading.
@(you need an account to see links) Nope, you read that right. 1 in 12 chance to get an item code...once you pay for shipping to have it mailed to your house and scratched off. What a joke.

The fact that theres only a chance and then you also have to wait for the physical copy to be shipped to you - thats hilarious.
I couldn't find the cars on the website? I tried on the 17th at 9:00 am, and nothing, and even now there's nothing?
I am a human being, nothing human is alien to me.
Lol what a dumb investment on their part if that's true. I guess they don't know that the people who actually wanted to buy them probably only wanted them for the possibility of a rare item code and not the collection of pixels that serve no real purpose and that most Neopets players are against the NFT/Virtual off site collectors things..
I wonder if these rare item codes are going to suddenly start popping up on ebay or if they'll get ditched by the NFT bros thinking that the codes are the worthless part of the transaction they just made lol.

It was like this with the NFTs as well lol. They sold fast, and they even had leftovers to burn because once the bots were done buying, no one else wanted them. There are also listing on Ebay already for cards listed as "no value" because the buyer doesn't know the scratch off code is the value of these trading cards. It's just a mess overall.

lo, and i cannot emphasize this enough, l
who in their department thought this was even minutely a good idea? didnt their last nft thing burn and die?
hey now it wasn't just their last nft thing, it was also the nft thing before that.
and that oldest neopets nft thing was..............collectable online trading cards
e: technically that was pre-nft so it was just "blockchain-enabled trading cards"
the domain host for them was only up a year and has been a pornsite ever since
