When you go into the cave you have to click Rutu's skellybones then you're given a scroll and then basically follow the guide at that petpage from there on out

And you can change the scroll icon by just clicking on one at the top of the scroll like this

If it's just a full colour dot it tells you the colour, but not the symbol that goes in that spot, and if it's just a blank symbol it only gives you the symbol that should go there not the colour.

Here are some solutions that might help
To put in your guess just click a symbol and a colour then click the space you want it to go on the board.

I don't get it. I have no clue how to solve this puzzle thing! o.0
I will do the puzzle for anyone if you want (me on your account) as long as you supply a proxy or find me a fast free one

try this:
yellow shield - yellow fire (triangle one) - yellow flower
red shield - purple fire - purple flower
purple shield - red flower - red fire
and post here if it doesn't work

follow the symbols on your parchment, refer to trix guide it works well
