We’ve been tracking the big guy all evening! The kids love it!

I remember when I was younger we didn’t do the tracking thing but we’d sit in the basement and watch Santa on TV take calls from the local kids. I was never allowed to call because “long distance to the North Pole was too expensive” but I loved watching people get to talk to Santa.

I was so jealous of this! I remember my local station did this with kids. They have a whole ass phone toy now that is linked to the internet and every day the kids get a new message from Santa until the final day. I might get one for the kiddo next year when she's older.

It's called the North Pole Communicator and apparently Hallmark purposefully doesn't release enough cartridges per year so you're forced to buy a whole new setup. It's a neat toy I'd they keep up with the refills yearly but sounds like they money-grab.
