Lost it all :(

Hard drive broke in my other laptop so now i basically lost everything i had this sucks!! time to start all over! Only thing I have left is the main account i was building up. Has this happened to anyone else before?

You easily remove the hard drive, and put it into an enclosure to get your data.

Define "broke". Like what happened to the hard drive? Did the computer itself break or just the hard drive?

just the hard drive, it turns on and for 3 seconds the screen comes up saying press escape to go to the menu and if i dont do that the screen just stays black. my step dad said the hard drives fried
