    Battledome Guide for cLraik! :D

    Master Blaster's Battledome Guide

By popular demand, I decided to make a battle dome guide! So without further a due, let's get this started

    Different type of battles

1p- 1p stands for 1 player battles, which is your pet against a computer AI opponents. It goes hand in hand with Defenders of Neopia, and there are over 100+ computer opponents to battle. 1p opoonents when beaten gain a certain amount of health points each time. In my opinion, 1p is a kind of limited battle scheme, there are a limited amounts of opponents, and limited amount of strategies they use.

2p- PVP if you will, is the infamous Neopian vs Neopian battle! 2p battles are the reason battledome weapons are so expensive. In Neopia, prestige is based off of how much money, wealth, and power you have. And battling is all 3. 2p battling gives people literally unlimited ways to strategize against their opponents because each opponent has different stats and weapons. But I'll get more into this later, just know the difference between 1p, and 2p!

    The Basics

In battling, the main things are stats, icons, and weapon types.

    Stats

There are 6 different stats for each neopet.
    -Level
    -Health points
    -Strength
    -Defense
    -Movement
    -Intelligence

The most important stats are going to be your Health points, Strength, and Defense. (these effect your battling strategies, and powers in battling.)

    Icons

    There are
    -Fire
    -Earth
    -Water
    -Air
    -Light
    -Dark
    -Physical

Each different icon can be blocked by different shields and abilities. But again we will get into this stuff later

    Weapon Types

In battling, there are different types of weapons for different scenarios and strategies. Some users like defensive strategy, and some users like a Strong attack, it all depends on your strategy, and base of attack. But there are a few different types of battling

    -Constants
    -One time use
    -One time a battle
    -Shields
    -Healers
    -Freezers

Now constants are used for unlimited use in battles as your main attackers! These weapons are used for your big, consistent blows to your opponents. Your two constants are a big part of your strategy, as in mixing the icons, so certain icons can't be blocked. (explain later)
One time use items such as potion, bombs, and etc are used all based on how you use them. Bombs for instance are all part of strategy, Most bombs deploy BIG blows to your opponent but are easily blocked by certain abilites, so you, the user have to determine the right time to use the bombs.
Shields are pretty self explanatory, the best of the best shields block atleast ONE full icon + some. These are used for a defensive strategy.
Healers again are self explanatory, they are used for healing your pet, when he/she has a low health.
Freezers are some of the best items in the game, but most 2p players don't like people using them. Freezers are used to freeze an opponent for ATLEAST one turn, which means your opponent cannot attack, or defend for a turn+

Now that you know the Basics

Now that the basics are over, let me explain some more things about 2p battles, and the rules.

    Strength Boosts

Strength boosts are Damage per Icon based on the amount of strength you have. The chart below is the exact damage per icon per strength boost.

(you need an account to see links)

    HSD and Leagues

As many people on cLraik use the term HSD, it just simply means: Health, Strength, and Defense Points (Hp+Strength+Defense=HSD) But based on your HSD, the Battledome Chat or BDC puts pets into certain Leagues based on Boosts so it evens the playing field during battles. The Leagues are shown in the chart below.

(you need an account to see links)

    Myths!

Certain weapons people blow out of proportion I will set straight!
DSoD- Darigan sword of Death was given out as the TOP prize of Meridell VS Darigan battle to the top battler. When it was originally given out, it did ten of each icon, but it has been dropped WAY down by TNT. It now does 1-6 per icon. It's still a decent weapon, but the price is priceless. So, it is a great weapon, but not worth what it used to be.

BGC- Bony Grarrl Club is one of the more expensive and rare weapons, it gives out a very rare avatar (BGC) but the weapon itself is practically useless, it can only be used by a grarrl, and does ONLY 6 icons.
This guide will still be added onto, I just need to find some time to polish up on some of the things, and add on Please +rep if this helped AT ALL, and comment and let me know what else I should add
