I am still new to the forum so I never got to know Danny well. I did see him be quite rude several times, especially to Emily as was already stated. Like Kristen said, I wouldn't mind if he was never unbanned but I would live with it if he was.

There are a lot of things that went on behind the scenes involving Danny's infractions/warnings/ban that you guys dont know about. He was EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful. Then there was the whole deal with Emily which made me want to honestly rip his head off.
Don't get me wrong, Danny has always been a great guy to deal with. I've personally bought from him multiple times and always had a pleasant experience. But all of you guys saying "unban him because he repped my guide or traded with me or has a lot of posts" are looking at it from the wrong direction. We all have to live with the consequences of our actions..it's life. He made the choice to do the things that got him banned and now he has to live with those consequences.
Personally, I would not mind if he was never unbanned. BUT, I could live if he was to come back. I do believe that he needs to be banned for a little while tho. No one is above the rules and he needs to be knocked down a few pegs. He cannot continue to think that he is above the rules and letting him back immediately would not prove anything or teach him a lesson. It would just make it seem like the mods and staff are easily manipulated.

So...I say if he is allowed back, he needs to be on a "short leash" so to speak. And absolutely no more chances.
i don't think i could of put it any better than that.........
just report it and ignore it.

    A good option:
    A few weeks banned
    A good, hefty infraction
    A deranking

I agree, this would be a worthwhile punishment.

To be realistic here; if any of YOU did what Danny did this past week, you'd be wanting a second, third, fourth, etc chance aswell.
I find it hilarious that you're all critisizing him for it when you'd do the same if you were having a bad week.
and even if it WASN'T from a bad week, I know 99% of you would beg for another chance.

Danny has been here at clraik since day 1.
He is helpful, nice (other then recently), and etc.

If it were any of you, and even if I was treated badly by you.
i'd understand your reasons and believe you deserve a second chance aswell.

Also, Danny already lost top clraik due to rep removal, I don't think another rank removed is fair.
And most of you probably think I am sticking up for him because we're dating,
but I would say these things about many of you guys. Soo..

Instead of punishing an ACTIVE, contributing member.
Why not let go of this grudge and let him back?

If he messes up (which ill make sure he doesnt) then perm. ban him.

He wrote a public apology, we sent out seperate apologies to people that were treated rudely.

Nothing more he can do then wait and see what Joe thinks.

The little I have known Danny I have thought him to be a pretty good guy. I've traded with him a couple times and have had absolutely no trouble what-so-ever. While I do agree some sort of punishment must be dealt, I don't think a perma ban would be viable as he is a large contributor to the site with his trades and assistance. HOWEVER, if I've learned anything from movies, whenever you give a bad guy a second chance, he always ends up stabbing you in the back. So I say let him come back, but somebody pat him down for weapons first...

Looking back. I have to retract what I have written. Based on what I have read, and a similar instance that happened on another forum I mod on; I would not let him back. I don't know Danny personally, so if you are reading this, this is based on what you have posted and the tone of your posts.

First of all, the essay seemed really half-assed and half hearted. I can put together a better essay. It seems that he wrote it for the sake of writting it because he has to. Not because he wanted to. It was like: “Aw shit, they are asking for an essay. Eh, five minute essay should do it.” He didn't seem to write like he felt he was in conviction. But rather down playing the whole situation that it is over done.

Moreover, this is not the first time he was banned. Getting banned once, that's bad. Getting accepted back he should have followed the rules. Then he gets banned again. Surely he would have learned his lesson by now. This is not the case. In my opinion, his luck ran out, and the ban is justifiable.

If you disagree with this, please reply back.

I say yes, let him back in

We all fuck up and now and then (some more-so than others)

probation wouldnt be a bad idea, sure let him keep his rank but maybe leave him at newbie for a week, then clraik for a week and then back to his rank

This post is just how i feel, i personally have no hate or dislike to danny in anyway, from what i know of him he seems nice enough, but punishment.... punishment is just fun when im not the one being punished
