They realize that we're pissed off over the nerf, and a lot of people won't want to buy NC anymore, so they have to think of clever ways to make people keep buying it. I personally think their motive is to make boxes more of a commodity so people have to spend money on NC specifically for GBC, and more of it at that because now they will need to buy some to open and some to trade. I didn't used to have to open any GBC because 4 boxes per 2k was good enough for my needs. I just bought them to trade for the items I wanted, but this change would make it so I had to buy some to open too, and no fucking thanks. I for one will not be falling for it. Fuck 'em.
Frankly, I'm surprised Trudy's still gives out boxes, but just wait.

It's like they're following a plan of what NOT to do if they want the site to survive. Broken beta and NC nerf all in the same few weeks? It's actually depressing to see.
