Question I have a few questions about buying Neopets.. bare with me please?

Being the noob to this that I am, I'm very paranoid about getting frozen.
I have bought items/neopoints in the past and all was fine until a few weeks later when I frozen.
My new main is all legit, no buying or cheating. But I'm getting tired of saving up NP for my "dream" pet so I'd be very interested in buying it instead.
The pet I'm looking for is not very high end, worth less than 6mil NP, very commonly seen/adopted out, etc. So I have some questions.

    1. If I were to get this pet through buying it, what are the chances I'd be frozen?
    2. Should I NEVER have the pet on my main? Or would it be alright/reasonably safe (I understand there's always risk) to bring it over to my main in time?
    3. Because of how common it is, does this give it a less likely chance that I'll be caught?

I am very sorry if I posted this in the wrong section. I'm still getting the hang of this site.

Well, if the pet is 100% legit you have a low chance of being frozen.

    Thanks for answering.
So, if that is the case, would it be alright to eventually have the pet on my main?

Yea, you should be fine if the pet is !00% legit and not of an active account.

You could probably ask the seller to like play it off through nm's or something like "Oh I saw you were seeking blah blah blah I have one UFA." lol

You can buy a pet and wait some month before transfering it to your main. Use proxy (see guide section if you don't know what is it). Do fake neomails between your accounts like "I'm trading my beautiful UC for you ugly very very very uncommon real word"

If you are buying for real money and waiting before transfering everything, you have less chances to be frozen. You chances to loose your account can alos depend of the seller, like if the person is careful, patient and using proxies.

^That aswell it'd be a good idea to buy from a trusted seller.

Yea, mainly the reasons you get frozen is because the people selling you the neopoints is probably telling you they are legit and secured when really they are not.

As for the pet thing, like maxx said there is a very low chance of you getting frozen if the pet was not just sniped out of the pound to be traded off or taken from an active/semi-active account.

The best way to buy neopoints from someone who you are not fully sure if they are 100% legit is to use a proxy and buy them on a side account, let them sit for about a month or 2 and then start to slowly transfer them to your main, through shop, trading post and auctions (do not do huge trades through the TP or auctions and do not price all 90,000+ items in your shop and buy them all at once). Any other advise you need feel free to pm me and I will help you out the the best of my ability.
