I'm in the process of reading the Hunger Games Trilogy. Not -quite- my cup of tea, but they're ok. I like them a whole lot more than I liked Twilight(ugh...).

I need start Mockingjay. So far they've been fast reads for me, but I'm a fast reader anyway and they're only around 400 pages each. The story is alright, but I wish it had been written for adults, not for teens. I might enjoy it a bit more. Haven't seen the movie and received some terrible reviews about it anyway. Maybe I'll torrent(can I say that?) it sometime instead of spending the $8 to see it in theaters.

Next I plan to start Black Prism, by Brent Weeks. I LOVED his Night Angel Trilogy, so I figured I'd try his other book as well.

    Title of book: Twelve
    Author: Nick McDonell
    Type of book: novel
    # of pages: 224

Twelve is the first book written by the 17 years old auther Nick McDonell.
Twelve is the name of a new and hard drug.
The book is about the teenagers from New Yorks Upper East Side (like the teens from Gossip Girl ).
It shows off the "real" live of the teens. They are all rich but not happy. Their parents have no time for them so they start taking drugs, drinking to much, having sex with people they don't really know and so on. Because of all this shit they even kill eachother!

The sad thing about the book is that's a true story.
At the beginning, Nick McDonell writes:
Can we please all stand and have a moment of silence for those student who died.

And can we now have a moment of silence for those student who killed them.

Title of book: The Catcher in the Rye
    Author: George R.R Martin
Type of book: Fiction - American Literature
    # of pages: IDEK but it's pretty short

The majority of the novel takes place in December 1949. The story commences with Holden Caulfield, the seventeen-year-old narrator and protagonist of Catcher, addressing the reader directly from a mental hospital in southern California. He wants to tell us about events that took place over a two-day period the previous December. It is a frame story, or long flashback, constructed through Holden's memory as he describes encounters he has had with students and faculty of Pencey Prep in Agerstown, Pennsylvania. He criticizes them for being superficial, as he would say, "phony."
